· Pastor Blair was born in High Point, NC and raised in Conway, SC. He attended Conway High School and Fruitland Baptist Bible Institute in Hendersonville, NC. He also received a Bachelor's Degree from Luther Rice Seminary in 1989 and currently holds a Master of Divinity from Luther Rice Seminary in Litonia, GA.
He was mentored by Dr. Mark Corts for one year through the Tarheel Leadership Network. He has served in various capacities in local Associations. He has served on the state level as a member of the Committee on Committees and Program, Place and Preacher Committee and was Chairman in 2009 for the Baptist State Convention of North Carolina. He currently serves on the Board of Directors. He writes a bi-weekly newspaper column for the local paper, The Angier Independent, entitled "Timeless Truths". He has preached numerous revivals in N.C., S.C., GA. and VA.
He and his wife Wendy have two sons. One serves as a Wake County Deputy Sheriff and the other as a Student Minister. They also have one granddaughter. Pastor Blair has served as Senior Pastor at Piney Grove Chapel Baptist for 24 years.
Dean Thom Rainer and the Faculty of the Billy Graham School of Missions, Evangelism, and Church Growth of Southern Seminary in Louisville, Kentucky recognized Piney Grove Chapel Baptist in 2000. The church was recognized for being among the top four percent churches in America for baptismal radio. These Churches baptize 26 or more and have a baptism ratio of less than 20:1 during a given church year.
The Baptist State Convention of NC recognized Piney Grove Chapel Baptist in 2000 for being the top ten for baptisms in its size category in North Carolina.
Piney Grove Chapel received the C.H. Spurgeon Award Finalist In Innovative Approaches from the Billy Graham School of Southern Seminary in 2003. The Church was recognized for its outstanding accomplishments as a Healthy Church.
· Brad has served as Student Pastor at Piney Grove Chapel since October, 2009. He was born in Raleigh and raised in Clayton, NC. He attended Southeastern College in Wake Forest and graduated from Liberty University in Lynchburg, VA. He holds a Bachelor of Science Degree in Religion. He is currently pursuing a Masters of Arts Degree in Religion with a concentration in Biblical Studies. Brad currently serving his second term on the Committee on Convention Meetings with the North Carolina Baptist State Convention. Brad and his wife Heather have two sons, Samuel and Malachi.
· Darlene has been a member of PGCB nearly all her life and joined the staff at PGCB in May of 2003.
